About Linda

Linda Maureen Gregory was born on September 1, 1947, in Dallas, Texas, to Benjamin Thomas Gregory and Norma Eunice Williams. She had four brothers and two sisters.

Linda married William Himes in 1964. Together they raised five children. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Himes, and by her children, Carla Himes and Nathan Himes.

Linda was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on December 29, 2007, and was an active member of the Holly Lake Ranch Congregation.

She is survived by her children William Himes Jr., Curtis Himes, and Kathy Goble, as well as seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Linda was a quiet and humble person whose personality had a positive effect on many friends and family members. What she learned from her faith and her love for her Creator influenced many in her family and led several to develop a strong faith of their own.

She will be greatly missed, but her family finds comfort in her enduring hope for a peaceful future as promised in the Bible.
